Hydrogeology and Geology Qualifications
I am a unaffiliated senior hydrogeologist with comprehensive and extensive experience in groundwater and surface water hydrology, geology, and computing (especially groundwater and surface water modeling). Many of the pages on this website are examples of (1) the use of Python and Fortran computer programs, (2) computerized numerical solutions to analytical equations, and (3) computerized mapping and data processing. Much of the professional employment listed below has been based on the use of computers to solve hydrologic and geologic problems. My office computers are Linux systems, and I am currently developing Python programs (finite-difference groundwater model, contour mapping, transmissivity from specific capacity).
